Beatriz Milhazes

Beatriz Milhazes is a Brazilian collage artist and painter.  Her work is filled with intense colours, geometric shapes and floral patterns.  She uses sweet wrappers, silkscreens and holographic papers in her work.

Alma Thomas

Alma Thomas was an African-American artist and teacher who lived in Washington D.C.  She loved using bright and bold colours in her paintings and would regularly use small rectangle blocks in her art.
