Northbourne Park Football Tournament October 2025 

Well done to our 2 teams who represented our school at this tournament. The local competition was tough but our A Team were crowned champions.

McCarthy Cup

Our A team retained this cup, ensuring that we represent Dover and Deal District at the County Finals in London.

County Finals

A great performance by all of our team at this tournament. We were unfortunate not to go through to semifinals on goal difference!

Stabbs Cup Competition 

1st round V Hornbeam, River won 2-1.

2nd round V Sholden, River won 3-0

Dover School Games Year 5/6 Tag Rugby Festival 

A very enjoyable afternoon of rugby was had by all who attended, improving all of their rugby skills too!

Dover School Games Year 5/6 Basketball Festival 

Our team played well at this festival, being part of a great afternoon of sport. 

Dover School Games Year 3/4 Dodgeball Festival 

Our team played some very fast-moving games of Dodgeball, leaving the event with some very 'red faces' but very happy!

Dover School Games Year 5/6 Handball Festival 

All the children developed their Handball skills at this event and thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon of sport!

Dover School Games Swimming Gala

All of our swimmers performed to the best of their ability to once again be crowned overall champions for the 6th consecutive year! Amazing performance!

Northbourne X-Country Relay Race

Our 2 year 6 teams took part in this annual relay race, great performance by all, with our A team finishing in 3rd position and our B team finishing in 15th position. 

Dover School Games Year 5/6 Dodgeball Festival 

Some very exciting games of Dodgeball were played by our team at this festival!

Dover School Games Year 5/6 X-Country Race

Our year 5 girls and boys ran really well in this race, never giving up and showed great resilience. The year 6 girls continued the great performance levels, going on to win the team bronze medal. Our year 6 boys were up last. From the very start, Kyan led the race with a great performance to win the gold medal. His teammates also put in a brilliant performance to secure the team gold medal too!

The Kevin Edwards Trophy Year 3/4

The year 4 team played some lovely football in this competition and were very unlucky not to go through to the semifinals, losing out on goal difference.

Our 2 girls really enjoyed this festival, all played well within their teams and clearly enjoyed an afternoon of sport!
