Friend or Foe

This term, to tie in with our World War II history topic, our class text is Friend or Foe by Michael Morpurgo. Friend or Foe is a novel about two boys who are evacuated from London during WWII and sent to live in the countryside with another family. One night, the skyline on the moor is lit up with gunfire and the distant sound of shelling. The boys' new-found peace is shattered when the discover a plane crash not far away from their new home.
