During Term 4 and 5, we will be exploring and learning all about forces.

We will start the term by recapping our knowledge of forces from year 3. Can we remember which surface causes a car to move the fastest? Do we know why?

Each week we will be planning and carrying out a range of scientific enquiries and investigations to explore a variety of forces and their impact on moving objects. 

We will explore the following questions:

What is gravity?

How does air resistance affect the speed at which an object falls?

What Changes the Effects of Water Resistance?

What Impact do Gears, Levers and Pulleys Have on Forces?
