Support for Parents of Children with SEND

If you are concerned about your child and would like to speak to someone at school, please don't hesitate to contact your child's class teacher, Ms Moody (Assistant Head/SENCO), Mrs Prior (Pastoral Lead) or Miss Chase (SENCO Assistant).

Kent SEND Hub for parents - for information about the support your child can get in any Kent School

 

Kent Mainstream Core Standards - The Mainstream Core Standards document explains what schools (this includes academies and free schools) can do to support children and young people with SEND so that they are included in all aspects of school life (or are as included as they wish to be), make progress and are happy in school.

 

IASK - Independent Advisory Service Kent - They give free, impartial and confidential information, advice and support about special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) for children, young people up to age 25, parents and carers.

 

Kent Resilience Hub - for information about how to support your child's social and emotional mental health. There are also a wide variety of resources and webinars for parents.
