Grab your wetsuit. We’re going deep into an underwater world of incredible coral and mysterious sea creatures.

 

In this exciting topic we will be learning about:

  • the world's oceans and biomes
  • the different layers of the ocean and the animals that live there
  • the Great Barrier Reef and exploring whether climate change has had an impact
  • how the indirect actions of humans have impacted on the world’s glaciers

 

We also have a visit to Margate planned where we will be looking at the physical and human features of the area, getting inspired by the Antony Gormley statues for our art and taking part in a litter pick as part of our Ocean award that we are working towards this term.
